According to the information, Jagarnath Paswan, resident of Devatan village of Kon police station area, is the former district vice president of BJP Scheduled Morcha. In the complaint given to the police, he told which police station he had gone to on November 10 for Panchayat in a case. There, during the Panchayat, a woman from the other party, Geeta Devi, suddenly attacked him. To tarnish his social reputation, he was beaten with slippers.

Along with the woman, her brother Moti Ram, resident of Dodhiahi and Uday Ram, resident of Shivpur Kon were also present. They also beat him up. On the complaint of the BJP leader, the police have registered a case against the three accused under other sections including assault and threatening. The police have started investigating the matter.
