Weekly Top Gainers and Top Losers: Friday was a positive day in the stock market and Sensex closed at 72,026 with a gain of 178 points, while Nifty closed at 21710 with a gain of 52 points. Last Friday, Nifty closed at the level of 21731 and this week Nifty closed at the level of 21710. In this way, on weekly basis, Nifty closed this week with a fall of 21 points. However, the trading range of Nifty this week was 334 points as it made a low of 21500 and a high of 21834 this week.

If we look at the weekly chart of Nifty, the candles of the last 10 weeks show that after seven consecutive green candles on the weekly chart, a small red candle was formed and after that again a green candle was formed. After that this week’s candle is flat. This means that the bullish trend in Nifty still continues.

Weekly Top Gainers and Top Losers

Talking about the share gainers of Nifty 50, the biggest gainers were Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited. This week Adani Ports saw a rise of 13.5 percent and on Friday the share closed at the level of Rs 1154. Similarly, the second biggest gainer of the week was Tata Consumer Products, which gained 7.9% and closed at the level of 1123. Adani Enterprises Limited was the third largest weekly gainer this week. This week the share had a total gain of 7 percent and closed at the level of 3006.60.

This week Bajaj Finance Limited also saw a growth of 6.2 percent and its weekly closing price was 7711.20. The fifth gainer stock of this week is Tata Motors Limited which increased by 4.9 percent and closed at the level of 791.0.

There were ups and downs in the market this week. Many big stocks closed on the decline. The first name among these top weekly losers stocks is that of JSW Steel Limited. This week this stock fell by -5.8% and closed at the level of Rs 829.4. The second losing stock of this week was Mahindra & Mahindra. It recorded a decline of about 5.3 percent and closed at Rs 1642.0. Eicher Motors Limited closed in decline this week. m

It declined by -5.3 percent and closed at the level of 3877.1. The name of Hindalco Industries is also included in the weekly falling stocks this week. This week this stock fell 4.4 percent and closed at the level of 587.0.
