New Delhi. The leader of the gang involved in looting cattle in Delhi-NCR has been arrested by Begumpur police station from Karnal. The arrested criminal has been identified as Mustafa (36), resident of village Chhotak Lafra, Yamuna Sadar, Haryana.
The kingpin, along with his associates, used to commit robberies with the force of arms in the rural areas of Delhi NCR. About 18 cases are registered against the accused. With the arrest of the criminal, the police claimed to have solved three cases registered in Rohini district. Delhi Police searched at least 900 CCTV cameras installed on the highways of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to catch him. The police officer said that on November 1, Begumpur police station received information about cattle being looted at gunpoint. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot.
