Raipur. Chhattisgarh government had given bonus amount of more than Rs 3700 crore to about 12 lakh farmers through DBT on the occasion of Atal Jayanti on 25th December last month. At this time, farmers are in dire need of money for sowing and irrigation of Rabi crops. In such a situation, the bonus given by the government became a gift for the farmers. But due to the evil eye of the banks on bonus, this gift is proving to be a problem for the farmers.
Banking is telling different types of rules
As soon as farmers get any facility from the government, the government machinery starts distributing money. To stop this, many technical measures have been taken like sending the benefits of government schemes directly to the bank accounts of farmers through DBT. But the addiction of departmental employees to kill the rights of farmers is still not going away. Farmers have complained that when they are going to withdraw the bonus money from their bank accounts, the bank employees are harassing them in various ways to collect bribe. Due to which farmers are facing a lot of difficulty in withdrawing their money from their own bank accounts.
