New Delhi, Keeping in view the rush of passengers, unreserved trains are being run daily. Till Chhath festival, about 10 special unreserved trains can be run from New Delhi and Anand Vihar.
In comparison to normal days, the sale of unreserved tickets has doubled in this festival season. On normal days, an average of 20 thousand unreserved tickets were purchased daily from New Delhi, but at present 40 to 50 thousand tickets are being sold. Railway sources said that unreserved tickets are being continuously monitored. Special trains are being run for the direction of the area where more tickets are purchased. According to officials, till Chhath festival, about 10 unreserved trains can be run from New Delhi and Anand Vihar.
At the same time, Railways has fixed temporary stops of many trains for bathing in the Ganga in the biggest fair of West UP. Twelve pairs of trains, including Ala Hazrat and Rajyarani Express, will stop at Garh and Kankather, while ten passenger trains will have separate coaches.
