SBI Recruitment 2023: From 8 thousand rupees for clerk in State Bank of India

SBI Recruitment 2023: This is a golden opportunity for candidates looking for employment to get a government job. State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification of Clerk Recruitment, 2023. The youth were waiting for this for a long time. Under this recruitment drive, more than 8,000 vacant posts of Junior Associate will be recruited in the organization. Application fee

The process of application for the post of clerk in State Bank of India (SBI) has started. Applicants applying for these posts will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750 for general category, OBC and EWS candidates. SC/ST and disabled category candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Details of posts

A total of 8,283 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Of these, 3,515 posts are for general category. 1,284 posts are reserved for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 748 for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 1,919 for Other Backward Classes (OBC) and 817 for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Candidates will get appointment at different places in states like Gujarat, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Meghalaya, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan.

Educational qualification

For application, it is mandatory to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized university. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree Certificate are also eligible to apply.

Age Range

The minimum age for application is 20 years and maximum age is 28 years. Age will be calculated as on April 1, 2023. SC/ST category will get age relaxation of 5 years, OBC category will get 3 years, disabled candidates will get 10 to 15 years relaxation as per the caste category.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for these posts on the basis of preliminary examination, main examination and interview. The preliminary examination will be of 100 marks, in which 30 questions will be asked from English, 35-35 from Mathematics and Reasoning. The main examination will be of 200 marks, in which 40 questions will be asked from English, 50-50 from General Awareness, Mathematics and Reasoning. The preliminary examination will be held in January, 2024 and the main examination will be held in February, 2024. The basic salary of the selected candidates will be Rs 19,900 per month.
