The Punjab government has taken an important decision for the poor people in the state. The government is going to implement the scheme of home delivery of flour on 27th November, the festival of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Now flour will be delivered door-to-door to every 1.42 crore beneficiaries, which will be started in the month of January. This scheme will cost approximately Rs 670 crore. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also given the green signal to this scheme made by the Food and Supplies Department.
इस योजना के तहत सरकार हर महीने 72500 मीट्रिक टन राशन बांटेगी। राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एक्ट के अंतगर्त अक्तूबर से दिसंबर तक गेहूं का आवंटन हो चुका है। लाभपात्रों में इसे वितरित करना शुरू कर दिया गया है। वहीं आपको बता दें कि आटा मिल वाले गोदामों से गेहूं उठाएंगे। पिसाई के लिए राशन डिपो को देंगे।
After grinding, 5 or 10 kg flour will be packed. It is worth mentioning that responsibility for 3500 ration depots will be assigned under the scheme. On the basis of tender, companies will be entrusted with the task of delivering flour to every home.
