Opposition Meeting in Mumbai

Today is the second day of the meeting of the opposition alliance ‘India’, which began on Thursday in Mumbai. In the formal meeting of the leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India) to be held today, the decision on the coordinator and logo of the alliance can be taken. In the first day’s meeting at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, it was agreed to form an 11-member coordination committee.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party leader Sonia Gandhi, six chief ministers including Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal and more than 60 leaders from 28 parties have attended the meeting. During the day there was a round of reconciliation between the leaders. In the evening there was a discussion on the agenda of the alliance and the formation of the coordination committee. It was decided that the committee would visit every state and study the political situation there. After that the seat sharing will be decided.
Senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan said, the coordinator of the opposition alliance will be decided on Friday. Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray hosted the dinner. The Common Minimum Program was also discussed in the meeting. The leaders claimed that they have come together to save the Constitution and democracy. In the meeting, it was agreed to form an 11-member coordination committee.
