Puffed rice-250 grams
Water-1/2 cup /2 cups
Method (Makar Sankranti Laddu Recipe)
- First of all, put water and jaggery in a pan and melt it on low flame. When the jaggery melts completely, increase the flame and let it boil. Cook it on high flame.
- Mix it quickly in the puffed rice. Remove it from the flame and let it cool for some time. If the mixture seems a little sticky then apply some oil on your hands and make laddus.
- Let them cool and serve. Do not let the mixture of jaggery and puffed rice cool down too much. Prepare laddus only when it is slightly warm.
