Kawasaki Z650RS Engine, Design

Kawasaki Z650RS Retains its advanced-classic design with short, flat tail section and attractive spoke-wheel-like alloys. It combines a neo-retro look with a round headlamp and a horizontally swept tail lamp featuring all-LED lighting. It is equipped with the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine as the existing Z650RS which generates 68hp power and 64Nm torque. The engine is designed inside a lattice frame, which is borrowed from the Z650 but the subframe has been redesigned.

Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a monoshock, while braking is provided by dual 286 mm discs at the front and a single 172 mm disc at the rear. The Kawasaki Z650RS also has a comfortable 800 mm seat height, but there is 125 mm of ground clearance.
