The whole matter has come to light from Hyderabad, where a person bought Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate worth Rs 45. When he opened the chocolate wrapper, he found an insect crawling in it. The person had bought this chocolate from Ratnadeep Retail Store at Ameerpet Metro Station.
The name of the person whose worm came out of the chocolate packet is Robin Janchius. Robin Janchius has posted the video on social media platform X. Robin Janchius shared the video and wrote – An insect was found crawling in the Cadbury chocolate purchased from Ratnadeep Metro Ameerpet. Is there any quality check on these products? Who is responsible for public health hazards? He paid Rs 45 for this chocolate.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has also reacted to Zacchaeus’ post. He wrote- “The concerned food safety team @AFCGHMC has been alerted on this issue and it will be resolved as soon as possible.” Here, Cadbury Dairy Milk also responded to the person’s post and asked for more information about buying chocolate from Robin Zacchaeus and wrote – “Hello, Mondelez India Foods Private Limited (formerly Cadbury India Limited) is committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
