IND-W vs AUS-W 3rd ODI: Team India will try to save face in the last ODI match of the series, Australia is eyeing a clean sweep – Bollywood Keeda

IND-W vs AUS-W 3rd ODI: The Indian women’s team, which has already lost the series by losing the first two matches at the hands of Australia (IND-W vs AUS-W), will take the field to save its honor in the third and final ODI match. By winning this match to be held in Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai) on Tuesday, January 2, Harmanpreet Kaur’s team would like to gather inspiration for the three-match T20 International series starting from January 5. In the last match which was thrilling, Australia defeated India by three runs and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. In such a situation, the Indian team will have to win the third and final ODI match to avoid clean sweep at home. Both the teams have played 52 ODIs so far, in which Australia has won 42 and India has won 10 matches.

Let us tell you that the Indian team is under pressure due to the slow and poor start of the batsmen in the top order, after which the lack of runs from the bat of captain Harmanpreet in the middle order is a big headache. However, young batsmen Yastika Bhatia, Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues have proved their worth against the best bowling lineup in the world. While Yastika scored 49 runs in the first ODI, Jemima scored 82 runs in the first match and 44 runs in the second match but she could not lead her team to victory. Wicketkeeper batsman Richa missed her century in the second ODI by just four runs and became the victim of Annabel Sutherland on a personal score of 96. The team needs a batsman who plays big shots in the lower order and can score runs quickly. The bowlers performed better in the second ODI as compared to the first match.

It is noteworthy that the Australian women’s team, captained by Alyssa Healy, may have lost the only Test match, but it did not allow host India a single run in the ODI series. Phoebe Litchfield, Elise Perry and Tahlia McGrath have impressed a lot in batting. Captain Healy was also seen returning to form in the last match. In the lower order, Ashley Gardner, Annabel Sutherland and Alana King also have the ability to score runs quickly. In bowling, Megan Schutt, Kim Garth, Georgia Wareham and King have not given the Indian batsmen the opportunity to score runs easily in the first two matches. At the same time, if needed, McGrath, Perry and Sutherland are also capable of bowling for Australia and taking wickets.
