Meerut. Rahul (30), son of Kunwarpal, resident of Om Nagar, resident of Sardhana Road, street number two, history-sheeter of Kankarkheda police station of the district, was beaten to death with a brick and the body was thrown into the drain in the street, fifty meters away from the house.
When the people nearby looked, they saw that there were injury marks on the head. After giving information, Kankarkheda police was called on the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police have also recovered a brick from the spot. The family members have demanded a fair investigation and action. Police have assured action.
According to Kankarkheda police, several cases are registered against Rahul in Kankarkheda police station. He is a drug addict. Some time ago he sold all the land that came to him. At night, Rahul was found lying soaked in blood near his house. During this, there was panic among the people nearby. Within no time a crowd gathered.
On information, Kankarkheda police reached the spot and informed about the matter. The forensic team also investigated and seized the brick and sealed it. At present the police is investigating through CDR-surveillance. Only after which further action will be taken. SSI Krishnapal Singh of Kankarkheda police station says that investigation is being done through surveillance and CDR. At present the matter seems suspicious.

SP City Piyush Singh says that instructions have been given to Kankarkheda police to investigate the entire incident. Prima facie the case seems to be one of murder. Strict action will be taken against the accused. Action will be taken on the report of CCTV and forensic team. Rahul was also having a dispute with his brother and seven cases including five thefts and one murderous attack were registered against him.
