The devastation that Japan witnessed 78 years ago can hardly be forgotten in history. August 6, 1945 was the day when the US dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.
The atomic bomb generated heat of more than 4000 degrees in Hiroshima and the city was destroyed in a moment. Not only Hiroshima, but three days later, America also created havoc here by dropping atomic bomb in Nagasaki.
The bomb was dropped to stop World War II
It had been six years since the World War started in the year 1939, but the war was not taking its name. Japan was still a powerful country at that time and was constantly attacking during World War II.
To prevent this, America gave an unforgettable pain to Japan by dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The US had dropped an atomic bomb named Little Boy in Hiroshima and Fat Boy in Nagasaki.
The effect of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima was such that within a moment 40,000 people fell asleep. The effect of the nuclear attack was such that crippled children continued to be born for many years due to nuclear radiation in the cities around this city.
Japan finally surrendered to the US after seeing its two cities burning badly, after which World War II came to an end. In fact, during World War II, the Japanese army attacked America’s naval base at Pearl Harbor, to which America responded by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Japan vows not to make atomic bomb
The effect of the atomic bomb was such that for many years people living in this Japanese city continued to die due to radiation sickness, burns and other wounds. A total of more than one lakh people died in Hiroshima due to this attack.
In view of this devastation, Japan resolved to make peaceful use of nuclear power and never make an atomic bomb. After destroying two cities of Japan till date America has not apologized for it.
