Dilshad Ahmed, Surajpur. A polling worker who had gone for the assembly elections in the district was beaten up and injured by unknown people. After which the victim’s son has complained about the matter in writing to the police. The police is investigating the matter.
It is being told that teacher Thakur Prasad, resident of Sohagpur village, was on duty at the polling station of Pratappur on 17th November. Where his health deteriorated while on duty on the day of voting itself. After which he was admitted to the hospital.
When the polling worker left for his home in Jarhi from the hospital. As it was night, Zarahi started resting near the sports complex. During this time, some unknown people beat him badly and injured him. As soon as information about the incident was received, the family brought him home. The polling worker suffered injuries on his head along with his body. The victim polling worker is not able to give information about the incident due to injury. The victim’s son has complained to the police in the matter.
