New Delhi, In Dwarka North area, a girl student, troubled by gang rape for about ten months, tried to commit suicide by drinking phenyl. Police have arrested three accused.
The victim, a resident of Dwarka North, is a class nine student in a local government school. She told that in April last year, she came out when the school was dismissed early. During this time, Mahendra, a young man from the locality, was standing outside the school with his friends.
Mahendra asked him to accompany him and threatened to kill his younger brother if he refused. The victim got scared and the miscreants took her in the car to the flat located in Vipin Garden. Here they raped her and left her after threatening to kill her. After the incident, the victim was frightened and did not go to school for several days. Since, the accused and his friends lived near the victim’s house. That’s why they kept an eye on him. When she went to school in July, they again kidnapped her, took her to the flat, gang-raped her and made a video.
Threatened her that if she did not come when called, they would make the video viral. A month later, the miscreants again reached the victim’s school. During this time, the victim had become pregnant and after getting information about it, the accused forcibly fed her contraceptive medicine. After taking the medicine, her health deteriorated and she started feeling constantly worried. Meanwhile, when she went to school, the accused would often come there and harass her.
Even after the family members asked, the student did not tell anything. Meanwhile, on January 25, he consumed all his mother’s thyroid medicine, due to which his health deteriorated and he had to be admitted to Indira Gandhi Hospital. After being discharged from the hospital three days later on January 28, the student came home. On February 1, he drank phenyl at home, but when his mother saw him in time, he was immediately admitted to the hospital. When the mother asked in the hospital, the victim told about the entire incident. Now the victim has been discharged from the hospital.
