New Delhi. The Election Commission has taken action against the Aam Aadmi Party over alleged derogatory remarks against PM Modi on social media. This notice has been issued to the National Conference of Aam Aadmi Party. Election Commission has asked AAP to respond to the allegation of Model Code of Conduct violation by November 16.
Let us inform you that on November 10, Bharatiya Janata Party had approached the Election Commission and demanded action against AAP for posting unacceptable and unethical video clips on social media platforms targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Votes are being cast through postal ballot in the convenience center set up in Town Hall, the center will remain functional on 15th and 16th November also.
It is noteworthy that last Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party had shared a video of industrialist Gautam Adani and Prime Minister Modi on social media. The next day, the party had shared the picture of Adani and Modi and alleged that the Prime Minister works for industrialists and not for the people.
