Let us tell you that on the night of Diwali in Ambala depot, roadways employee Rajbir, posted at the depot, was murdered by unknown miscreants. The Roadways Union is demanding martyr status for the employee and giving government job to the family. INTUC Union President of Gurugram Depot and State Deputy President Sandeep Dalal said that all the comrades of Ambala Depot are sitting on strike, but even after continuous talks with the administration, neither the murderers have been caught nor anything has been done on their demands. Consensus has been reached. Sajha Morcha has decided to block the buses of all the depots of the state from 12 o’clock on Tuesday night. 177 buses are being operated from the roadways depot. These buses run for the states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, UP.
Passengers will have this option
If the buses are blocked by roadways employees, then metro, trains, private vehicles and city buses will remain as options for the passengers. Passengers traveling on long routes will suffer the most due to jammed buses. Passengers traveling long routes will have to resort to private vehicles only.
