Delhi HC asks suspended BJP MLAs, will you apologize to the Lieutenant Governor? – Bollywood Keeda

Delhi. The Delhi High Court on Tuesday asked the seven BJP MLAs suspended from the Delhi Assembly for disrupting the Lieutenant Governor’s address whether they were ready to apologize to him. When the senior counsel appearing for the Assembly said that a similar approach had been adopted in the Supreme Court in the case of MP Raghav Chadda, Justice Subramaniam Prasad asked the senior counsel appearing for the suspended MLAs to take instructions on this aspect.

Senior advocate Sudhir Nandrajog, appearing for the Assembly, said that this matter is not political and it involves the dignity of the post of Lieutenant Governor. I spoke to the Assembly Speaker. He also suggested the approach adopted by the Supreme Court in the case of Raghav Chadda. If the members come and meet the Speaker and apologize to the Lieutenant Governor, then the whole matter can be put forward. Senior advocate Jayant Mehta, appearing for the MLAs, said that there is no problem in apologizing to the Lieutenant Governor.
