A case of gang rape has come to light in a hotel. The police have arrested five people in the case of gang rape of a female employee by forcing her to drink alcohol. The woman told the police that her friend and some other people forced her to drink alcohol and when she tried to protest, they took her inside a room, beat her and gang-raped her.
This case is from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered under rape, assault and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Four men and one woman have been arrested in this case. The video of the woman screaming has also gone viral. The rape victim has been sent for medical examination. The victim was a hotel staff and was working there for one and a half years. In the video shared with the police, the woman is shown pleading for help while being dragged inside a room by a man.
In the video the woman is saying, “Please, help me!” The woman can be heard saying in the video as a man was dragging her inside the room. In the clip he is also shown lying on the ground. The woman told the police that she was forcibly stopped in the room and beaten brutally. The accused also forced her to drink alcohol. According to senior police officer Sadar Archana Singh, Tajganj police of Agra had received information that an incident of rape had taken place in the hotel. Taking cognizance of the victim’s allegations, a case was registered.
