New Delhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate even today. He has written a letter to the investigating agency and termed the notice illegal. He wrote- I am ready to cooperate in the ED investigation, but the agency’s notice is illegal. Their intention is to arrest Arvind Kejriwal. They want to stop him from campaigning.
Aam Aadmi Party has said that Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal is not going to go on the summons of the Enforcement Directorate. The party has also raised questions on the ED summons. AAP says that Kejriwal is ready to cooperate in the ED investigation, but the notice is completely illegal. The party has questioned why the notice was sent just before the elections. Their intention is to arrest Kejriwal. They want to stop Delhi CM from election campaign.
ED had sent the third summons
Regarding this, ED had recently sent the third summons to AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal. In the third summons, the CM has been asked to appear on Wednesday i.e. today. Before this, he had refused to appear before the ED twice. Like before, won’t Kejriwal appear before the ED this time too? Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made its stand clear on this. The party did not say whether Kejriwal would appear today or not. But, he definitely said that he will take action as per the law.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar had said on Tuesday that the party will take action as per law on the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. ED has called Kejriwal for questioning on January 3 in the money laundering case related to liquor policy. In the press conference, Kakkar was asked whether Kejriwal would appear before the ED for questioning. On this he said, ‘Only our legal team will be able to answer this question better. We will work as per the law.
