CM Kejriwal saluted Manish Sisodia in the assembly – Bollywood Keeda

New Delhi , Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal became emotional today in the Delhi Assembly while remembering former Delhi Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia on the completion of one year of his arrest. On this occasion, Delhi CM Arvind reached Rajghat along with other AAP leaders and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

He saluted Sisodia in the House itself and praised his work and remembered him. Kejriwal said that today the person who gives education to the poor is in jail for one year. We salute their struggle. Today Manish is an inspiration for every patriot.

Speaking on the vote of thanks on the Lieutenant Governor’s address in the budget session of the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal said, “Today I would like to remember my younger brother Manish Sisodia ji. On this day, a year ago, Manish Sisodia was arrested. He used to sit next to me in this House. He said that it is a completely false case, but we will not mourn it at this time. We are proud of them. We take inspiration from them. He has done a lot of work for the country. Has worked to provide education and a good future to the children of the poor. “We have worked to inspire the poor children to dream and give wings to those dreams.”

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was working for education in Delhi. But the central government has wrongly put him in jail. Today it has been one year since he went to jail. If he joins BJP today, he will get relief. The central government is taking the help of investigative agencies to harass the Aam Aadmi Party.

The Chief Minister said, “The work which no government could do in 75 years, has been done by Manish Sisodia. Obviously, history in this world is witness to the fact that whenever such people come and challenge the system, such injustice is done to them. Therefore, I request this House and all the members to stand up and salute him. Manish Sisodia is a good man.”

Regarding providing free electricity, Kejriwal said that there is no shortage of electricity in the country. The total production in the country is 4 lakh MW. The peak demand of electricity in the country is 2 lakh MW. People across the country can be given 200 units of free electricity per month on the lines of Delhi. To provide 200 units of electricity to the entire country, a subsidy of Rs 1.5 lakh crore is required. Of the total Rs 11.5 lakh crore, 140 crore people can get better education, health and free electricity.
