Today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition will be heard in the High Court. CM Kejriwal has filed a petition against his arrest in the money laundering case. After this the High Court had sought answers from ED.

In its reply in the court, ED said that AAP has done money laundering through Arvind Kejriwal and this crime comes under Section 70 of PMLA. In the reply from ED, it was said that AAP got the maximum benefit from the money coming from the liquor scam. Of this money, approximately Rs 45 crore has been used in AAP’s election campaign during the Goa Assembly elections 2022.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s weight is decreasing rapidly in jail. Aam Aadmi Party sources have made this claim. Sources say that since his arrest he has lost four and a half kilos of weight. It is also reported that doctors have expressed concern over the rapidly falling weight.

Earlier, news of Kejriwal’s sugar level also coming to light came to light. Quoting jail sources, PTI reported on Tuesday that when Kejriwal was brought to Tihar for the first time on Monday, his sugar level was found to be less than 50 during medical examination. He was given medicine on the advice of doctors. Even during ED remand, his sugar level was low.

The jail administration says that full care is being taken of Kejriwal’s health. His health is being constantly checked. They have also been allowed to keep diabetes medicine and a machine for monitoring it with them. Keeping Kejriwal’s health in mind, the court had given him permission to eat home-cooked food. Kejriwal’s lunch and dinner are being delivered from his home.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on 21 March. He remained on ED remand for 10 days and faced questions. On April 1, the court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. If he does not get bail from the higher court, Kejriwal will have to remain in jail at least till April 15. This is the first time that the Chief Minister has had to go to jail while in office. Arvind Kejriwal has been kept in jail number 2 in Tihar.
