Big blow to Rahul Gandhi from High Court! Petition dismissed in remarks case against Amit Shah – Bollywood Keeda

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has got a big blow from Jharkhand High Court. The court rejected the petition of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the case related to the alleged derogatory remarks made by him against Amit Shah. Now a trial will be conducted against him in this case in the lower court. In the last hearing, the court had reserved the decision.

BJP leader Naveen Jha had filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi in Ranchi court on April 28, 2018. He had alleged that on March 18, 2018, in the plenary session of Congress, Rahul Gandhi had given a speech against BJP and had accused Shah of murder. The complaint said that the statement given by Gandhi was not only false but it is an insult to all the workers, supporters and leaders who are working selflessly for the Bharatiya Janata Party. After this, Ranchi Magistrate Court had rejected Jha’s complaint. After this he filed a criminal revision petition before the Judicial Commissioner of Ranchi. Ranchi Judicial Commissioner had allowed the revision petition on September 15, 2018.

What did Rahul say?

Actually Rahul Gandhi had said, “No murderer can become the national president of Congress. “This can happen only in BJP.” He had given this statement regarding the then BJP national president Amit Shah. Shah is now the Home Minister of the country.

He had said in his complaint that the statement given by Gandhi was ‘not only false but it is an insult to all those workers, supporters and leaders who are working selflessly for the Bharatiya Janata Party.’

Subsequently, the Ranchi Magistrate Court rejected Jha’s complaint, due to which he filed a criminal revision petition before the Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi.
