Delhi, Even before the coordination on seat sharing in India Block, news of dispute has started coming out. In Bengal, Congress state president Adhir Ranjan Choudhary has directly targeted TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. He even said that Mamata Banerjee does not want an alliance. She is engaged in serving Modi.
Mamta is currently busy pleasing PM Narendra Modi. That’s why she doesn’t want to do coalition politics. If she does coalition politics then PM Modi will get angry. Mamata does not do anything on which Modi gets angry. Chaudhary said that Mamata needs Congress to win the elections, Congress can win the elections on its own.
Sources had said that Trinamool Congress has tried to contest the elections on only two Lok Sabha seats from its alliance partner Congress in Bengal. Since in the 2019 elections, Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC had secured 43 percent votes in the state and won 22 seats. In such a situation, TMC wants that it is the dominant party in Bengal and it should be given the right to take the final decision on seat sharing. On Thursday, Congress expressed strong objection to this formula of TMC. State President Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said, I don’t know who has begged from Mamta. We did not beg for anything. Mamta herself is saying that she wants an alliance. We do not need Mamata’s mercy. We can contest elections on our own. Sources say that the number of seat distribution is based on a clear formula.
