New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party has compared the BJP-ruled governments’ methods of suppressing the farmers’ movement with the British rule. AAP state convenor Gopal Rai said, the BJP government at the Center and Haryana is crossing all limits of cruelty by hammering nails on the roads and erecting walls to crush the farmers.
He has urged the Central Government to talk to the farmers positively and resolve their demands properly. In a press conference held at the party office, Gopal Rai said that India is an agricultural country. The farmers of India work hard to feed everyone by producing food grains in the scorching heat, bitter cold and rain.
Alleged that to stop the farmers, the BJP ruled Central and Haryana governments are adopting more cruel methods than the British. Nails are being driven on the roads and walls are being built. Farmers are being threatened and intimidated in the villages. He said that the videos that are coming to stop the farmers, similar pictures were seen in the films made on independence. Farmers want to come to Delhi peacefully to protest against the promises of the Central Government.
