There is a charging point near every seat and lightweight foldable snack tables. Apart from this, the train also includes facilities like aerosol based fire extinguishing system and radium lighting floor strips in toilets and electrical rooms.
How much will the train fare be?
The Railway Board has told all zones that the minimum ticket price for travel of 1-50 km in Amrit Bharat Express trains will be Rs 35, which will not include reservation fee and other charges. The board has issued a circular on December 27, which contains complete information about the fares of these trains. According to the board, the fare of this train is 15 to 17 percent more than that of Mail or Express.
There is seating arrangement for 1,500 passengers in the train.
Amrit Bharat Express has a total seating arrangement of 1,500 passengers. The train will have 22 coaches, of which 12 sleeper, 8 general second class and 2 guard coaches. There will also be space for disabled passengers in the new train. In this train, semi-permanent couplers have been provided between the coaches, due to which shocks will be reduced and the train will remain stable. Fully covered vestibules have been installed in the train, due to which the train will remain completely stable and safe.
Between which stations will Amrit Express train run?
The first Amrit Bharat Express will run between Ayodhya and Darbhanga in Bihar. This route shows the historical and cultural importance of both the places. Prime Minister Modi will flag off this train from Ayodhya itself. The second train will run from Bengaluru in Karnataka to Malda in West Bengal. ‘Push-pull’ technology has been used in this train, due to which the speed of the train can be increased or decreased easily. This train will run at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour.
