Alliance announced between AAP-Congress in Delhi – Bollywood Keeda

New Delhi , An alliance has been announced between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress for the Lok Sabha elections. Both parties will contest elections together in many states including Delhi. This was announced by both the parties. These two parties will contest elections together in Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana and Goa. There are total 7 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. An agreement has been reached between Congress and AAP under the 4:3 formula.

In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party will contest on 4 seats while Congress has been given three seats. AAP party will contest from New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi and East Delhi. Whereas, Congress will contest on North East, North West and Chandni Chowk seats. In the last Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won all the seven seats. Even in 2014, BJP had made a clean sweep. Earlier in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Congress had captured all seven seats of Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party and Congress announced the seat agreement in a joint press conference on Saturday. Mukul Wasnik and Arvinder Singh Lovely from Congress party and Atishi, Sandeep Pathak, Saurabh Bhardwaj from AAP announced seat sharing. Giving information about seat distribution, Mukul Wasnik said that the candidates of both the parties will contest on different symbols but will fully support each other on all the seats.

Announcing the seats in the alliance, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Pathak said that India will contest this election. We will fight unitedly. The strategy made by BJP will be reversed after this alliance. We will win this election.

Apart from Delhi, seat distribution was also announced for states like Gujarat, Haryana, Goa. In Gujarat, Congress will contest on 24 seats while AAP will contest on two. These seats will be Bharuch and Bhavnagar. Congress will contest on 9 out of 10 seats in Haryana while AAP will contest on Kurukshetra. Congress candidate will contest in Chandigarh. Congress will contest on two seats in Goa. Both parties will contest elections separately in Punjab. Along with this, there will be no alliance between the two parties in Punjab. Here both the parties will contest the elections alone. Local conditions and politics are being said to be the reason behind this. AAP Aadmi Party may get the Chandigarh seat. In this situation, AAP is leaving the Goa seat.
