Lucknow, There has been an allegation of corruption in a tender worth Rs 125 crore in Uttar Pradesh Bridge Construction Corporation. 4 lane elevated flyover is to be constructed on Mari Mata Temple, Arjunganj Sultanpur Road near Lucknow. In Bridge Corporation, the tender period was reduced by bypassing the rules of NHAI. Let us tell you that Setu Nigam had earlier fixed the duration of 45 days in the paper. After that the time period was increased to 21 days.
Now preparations are being made to manage the tender without issuing corrigendum for 21 days in the paper. The unit in-charge has gone on leave due to fear of getting trapped due to tender being issued against the rules. A complaint about this has been made to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It is being said that the tender deadline was reduced to benefit the favourites. The biggest question is why were the rules broken to hurry up?

It is alleged that Setu Nigam reduced the tender period by bypassing NHAI rules. There is a suspicion that an attempt is being made to mismanage the tender so that a big contractor can be given its benefit. On the other hand, Bridge Corporation officials are not ready to say anything on this issue. This is confirming this complaint to some extent.
