Air quality of Delhi-NCR has improved, all restrictions on grapes removed – Bollywood Keeda

New Delhi , Due to relief from pollution in the capital, the Central Air Quality Commission has lifted all the restrictions of GRP. According to the report of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality will remain in the moderate category for the next three days. After this the air index may improve further. The restrictions of the first phase of GRAP were implemented in Delhi-NCR on October 6 last year.

Earlier, the restrictions of the fourth phase of lockdown had been lifted on 18 November, the third phase on 18 January and the second phase on 19 February. The air quality in Delhi has remained in the moderate category since February 22. For this reason, it has been decided to remove the provisions of Grape-1 also. Therefore, now all restrictions on grapes have been completely removed from Delhi and NCR. The Commission also said that all the concerned agencies of NCR should continue their efforts to ensure that the air quality does not deteriorate.

It was told that the air quality index in Delhi has been below 200 for the last several days. Pollution monitoring organizations believe that pollution will remain in the moderate category for the next few days. After this, it was decided to remove the restrictions of the first phase of GRAP with immediate effect. The Commission has also ordered the agencies involved in preventing pollution, including the government, to continue working in this direction and to continuously monitor pollution so that it does not increase again. On Tuesday the wind speed was 8 to 16 kilometers per hour. In the next few days it will range from 8 to 30 kilometers.

There will be relief from pollution in the capital for the next four days. Due to light rain and increase in wind speed in Delhi on Tuesday, there was a decrease in the air quality index.

For the last few days, pollution in Delhi has remained in the moderate category. There was a slight improvement in air quality on Tuesday compared to Monday. While AQI was recorded at 170 on Monday, it remained at 159 points on Tuesday. The air remained in poor category in Jahangirpuri, Anand Vihar, NSIT Dwarka and Shadipur. Among these, Jahangir Puri was the most polluted. AQI 237 was recorded here. Whereas, Najafgarh had the cleanest air on Tuesday.
