Union Minister Anurag Thakur said on Thursday that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party, who came to power by claiming to be champions of honesty, have now become another name for corruption.
Thakur’s comment came after the Kejriwal-led Delhi government recommended a CBI inquiry into the cases of supply of fake medicines in Mohalla clinics. This recommendation has been made by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. After ignoring the summons issued by ED, BJP has intensified the attacks on Kejriwal. ED had called him to join the investigation in the money laundering case related to excise policy.
Thakur said, scams are coming to light one after the other in Delhi government. The Deputy Chief Minister, Minister and MP, who have received certificates of integrity on their behalf, are behind bars. He is not getting bail from the courts. He said, first the fake medicine scam came to light and now the fake testing scam is coming to light. He has made a direct attack on people’s lives. This entire government is fake. Thakur said Kejriwal is promoting anarchy and corruption and is making baseless allegations against constitutional institutions.
