New Delhi , The security arrangements of students in municipal primary schools are being improved. 10,786 CCTV cameras will be installed in 786 corporation primary schools. 15 CCTV cameras will be installed in each school.
50 Mbps internet connection will also be installed to connect the cameras to the internet. With this, schools can be monitored. To keep the video recording of the cameras safe, a 2 tera byte hard disk will also be included. A senior officer of the corporation said, after the installation of CCTV cameras, the schools can be monitored all the time.
Due to motion sensors in the cameras, video recording will occur if there is any movement. Cameras will be installed at the school entrance, park area, outside classrooms and other important places. Approximately Rs 25 crore will be spent on maintenance and other management of this entire project for 4 years.
You raised funds by ending corruption
Regarding installation of CCTV in corporation primary schools, AAP councilor Ankush Narang said that the AAP government has stopped the corruption of BJP. With this money, CCTV cameras will be installed in MCD schools.
Where will BJP get the funds for CCTV?
Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that Rs 25 crore is required to install CCTV, for which there is no provision in the MCD budget, hence the work will not start soon.
