After both losing their opening games, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) will desperate to get some points on the board when they meet on Thursday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

An RCB side packed with quality batsmen such as Virat Kohli (second-highest run scorer in IPL history with 4,954) and AB de Villiers (ranked #3 in the most sixes chart with 186) were skittled out for just 70 on a poorly prepared wicket in their opener against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They then managed to take just three CSK wickets as the visitors took the spoils by seven wickets. Kohli stated after the match that they were “glad to have that game at the beginning of the season rather than at the end”. They may well look to field the same side in this match, assuming the wicket will be more conducive to T20 cricket!
There were some positives in the chase which fell short at 176/9, as Yuvraj Singh silenced many of his critics by top scoring 53 (his 13th IPL 50). There was a also decent start for new signing Quinton de Kock, who scored 27 off just 16 balls.

Fantasy Cricket- Players to watch out for
Look no further than Virat Kohli (RCB) and Rohit Sharma (MI).

Both are capable of match winning performances and only Suresh Raina has scored more IPL runs than these two.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Three times winners of the IPL, MI were unable to chase down the 213/7 set by the Delhi Capitals in their opener, despite Mitch McClenaghan taking 3/40. Key bowler Jasprit Bumrah sustained a shoulder injury during his spell (0/40) and is a doubt for this match.
