During this, Anu was a victim of a horrific car accident. This accident was so big that she had been in a coma for 29 days. Now Anu remembers the incident that happened to her.

In an interview to Times of India, Anu said, ‘In 1999, I had an accident and I was in a coma. I lived in the ashram before the accident where I was meditating on spirituality. I don’t remember anything after the accident, but remember my spiritual name. In 2001, I retired and shaved my head. I used to live in a quiet place with a bag in my hand. Just used to study mind and human psychology.

Anu told, ‘In the year 2006, I once again came back and started meeting people. I would like to greet them lovingly for their help. After the accident, I did not even remember how to apply lipstick. People started sharing my ‘Before’ and ‘After’ photos. Photos of my no-makeup look were going viral. It was nothing short of shock to see all these happen for me.
